In addition, you can’t deny the excitement that surrounds the launch of a new game – especially since we personally haven’t experienced a new MMO launch since Star Wars the Old Republic. But as content creators, sometimes a fresh eye on something new and shiny is good for sparking the creative spirit. Make no mistake, we love ESO and its community. We know this will come as a surprise to many of you, given we’d recently taken a break from our time in Elder Scrolls Online and subsequently returned.

There were many aspects of the game we felt were worthy of at least experiencing the launch of the game and sharing our experiences. Well, from what we were able to see, we were impressed. In all honesty, we had the opportunity to get some gifted keys for the latest Closed Beta test and we took advantage of it just to check the game out. Recently, Amazon’s New World Beta caught our eye and it has intrigued us greatly. What’s the latest in game development? Where is the genre going? Will the genre survive? It’s never because we like one game over another, its usually because as MMO players, we have an innate drive to see this genre of gaming survive and thrive. As long-time MMO players, even when you’re entrenched in one game (some may call it addicted lol), you’re constantly on the lookout for new experiences.
